Lifetime Warranty

At NUVIK, we believe that a good leash is not measured only by how it looks on the first day, but by how it performs over time. That's why, each original NUVIK® leashhandcrafted from vegetable-tanned leather and with carefully selected materials, it is backed by our Limited Lifetime Warranty.

This warranty exists because we fully trust our artisanal process, the quality of the materials, and the final result of each piece that leaves our workshop.

Scope of the warranty

The NUVIK® Limited Lifetime Warranty covers exclusively manufacturing defectsdefects understood as those failures attributable to the craftsmanship or materials used originally, always under normal, responsible, and appropriate use conditions.

The following are covered, among others:

• Structural failures of the leather due to material defects
  
• Breaking of stitching, braiding, or assembly due to manufacturing defect
  
• Origin defects in carabiners, rings, or metal rivets
  
• Abnormal separation of the leather not caused by external agents
  

This warranty applies Products from other brands sold through the NUVIK website are governed by the warranty conditions established by their respective manufacturers or distributors, being in these casesonly to products designed and manufactured by NUVIK®

3 years according to current legislation not covered by the NUVIK® Warrantyand Warranty exclusions, unless expressly stated otherwise.

The warranty

does not cover, without exception Natural wear and tear of the leathersituations derived from normal use, natural wear and tear, or improper use of the product.

Marks, scratches, or abrasions inherent to use

• Darkening, patina, or tone changes
  
• Flexibility, softening, or aesthetic aging of the material
  
• Natural leather evolves over time, and these changes are part of its character and authenticity.
  

External damage or improper use

Bites, cuts, or continuous rubbing

• Sudden pulls, impacts, or extreme forces
  
• Use with dogs whose strength or weight exceeds the model recommendations
  
• Accidental snagging on trees, vehicles, fences, or other objects
  
• Environmental conditions
  

Prolonged exposure to water, especially saltwater

• Continuous humidity, mud, or incorrect drying
  
• Extreme heat or prolonged direct sunlight exposure
  
• Maintenance and handling
  

Lack of basic leather maintenance

• Use of detergents, chemicals, or non-recommended oils
  
• Modifications, adjustments, or repairs made by third parties
  
• Alterations to the original product (cuts, perforations, hardware changes, etc.)
  
• Intended use of the product

NUVIK® leashes are designed for

handling, guiding, and controlling the dog under direct supervision handling, driving, and control of the dog under direct supervision.

They are not intended for:

• Fixed or permanent tethering
  
• Securing the dog without supervision
  
• Weight dragging or use as a personal safety device
  
• Sports, professional, or work uses not specific to the acquired model
  

The correct choice of model, width, and resistance suitable for the dog is the customer's responsibility.

Warranty assessment

All products sent for review will be individually evaluated by NUVIK®.

In the event that the warranty is accepted, NUVIK may, at its sole discretion:

• Repair the product
  
• Replace it with the same model or an equivalent one
  
• Offer a purchase voucher proportional to the value of the product
  

does not cover, without exception does not imply automatic replacement or complete renewal of the product.

Shipping and costs

• The shipping of the product to NUVIK is at the customer's expense.
• NUVIK will assume the return shipping only in the case of an approved warranty.
• In cases not covered, NUVIK may offer repair with a prior estimate, without any obligation of acceptance by the customer.

Warranty duration and limitations

The lifetime warranty is valid during the reasonable lifespan of the product, understood as the period in which it can fulfill its structural function under appropriate use and maintenance conditions.

Intensive, abusive, or use contrary to the manufacturer’s recommendations is not considered a reasonable lifespan.

General terms

• Warranty valid exclusively for the original purchaser
• Non-transferable
  
• Applicable only to products purchased through official NUVIK® channels
  
• Requires proof of purchase or order identification
  
• NUVIK is not responsible for damages to third parties, animals, or property derived from the use of the product

Modifications

NUVIK® reserves the right to modify these terms without prior notice, with the terms in effect at the time of purchase always applying.

NUVIK Philosophy
